Dom and Lynsey @ Stanley House

So loved November this year – another glorious day as we set off really earlier for the fabulous wedding of Dom and Lynsey. A beautiful, rich colour scheme of shades of coffee and gold, enhanced by tones of slate grey. The wedding was planned to perfection – alongside planning heading off for a new life in Australia. (departing just 3 weeks after their wedding!) Lynsey was so so excited – and so organised –  with 3, bridesmaids and 4 flower girls she wanted to enjoy the morning with them – and still arrive on time for 12.00 service. I could say so much about this wedding but so want to share the pictures which tell the story perfectly. Dom and Lynsey havea great life together -you will certainly be missed in England. P.x

Stew and Becky @ West Tower.

Glorious blue skies and not a grey cloud to be seen – is this really November! The wedding of Stew and Becky had all the ingredients for a magnificent day… Fantastic atmosphere, the most amazing backdrop as they choose our fav wedding venue – the award winning West Tower www.westtower.com  and the most stunning of flowers by our good friend Laurie  www.flowerstylebylaurie.com   On the morning Becky was so excited she just couldn’t wait to see Stew… 2.30pm just couldnt come quick enough!  Alice a special friend of Becky’s family was so caring – not only did she make sure Becky had the dress of her dreams – she personally came to dress Becky and the bridesmaids, Sarah and Hannah. Rather an emotional ceremony and some great moments outside then a wedding breakfast that smelt delicious – (if Belly pork smells good to a vegetarian it must be something special lol.) Thanks to Stew and Becky for the fairy tale wedding and to all the staff at West Tower who made the day so perfect. P. x

Andrew and Rebecca ~ Our Ladies and All Saints, marquee at home

From first meeting Rebecca and her mum, we knew Andrew and Rebecca’s wedding was going to be relaxed and full of fun. (I have never seen a bride’s mum this excited before! ) I arrived at Rebecca’s mum and dad’s home at 9.30am greeted by a house full of laughter and a proud father of the bride who had just returned with breakfast for all the ladies. The marquee or rather marquee’s looked spectacular as the finishing touches were put in place. There were so many special touches that were so personal – From  the ” something borrowed” perfume from her mum and lucky sixpence from her dad.    Meanwhile  Bob met up with the boys at Andrew’s mum and dad’s home and then onto The Windmill – Andrew’s regular. Well after an exciting tour with the bridesmaids around Parbold Village -we arrived at Our Ladies and All Saints. It was lovely to see so many people waiting outside for the arrival of Rebecca and her dad . An emotional service from father Vincent – a very close relative of the family was so touching and then a short trip back  to the marquee where the atmosphere was electric.  The guests cheered as both sets of parents were announced into the room – followed by the grand entrance of the new Mr and Mrs Mc Gregor. Guests were entertained by the wonderful Stephen Bayliss –  I have to say  Nanna was truly amazing.(so glad I was there to witness it.) Rebecca and Andrew hope you had a fantastic honeymoon. P.x
